Chiropractic Care
A Two-Pronged Approach
Many people think chiropractic is only to help neck or back pain. But chiropractic offers a two-pronged approach to improving mobility, health and function—the biomechanical aspect, and the neurological aspect.
- The biomechanical part is the misaligned bones of your spine or extremities. This is comparable to when the wheels on your car are out of alignment—you’ll still get down the road, but the drive will be wobbly and your tires will wear out quicker. Similarly, when you have misalignments in your joints, your movement will not be optimal, and it can cause degeneration in your body.
- The neurological part is the interference in your nervous system caused by those misaligned joints. When there is nervous system interference, communication between your brain and body breaks down. It’s like having one bar on your cell phone—the message might get through, but it’s likely to be partially garbled. When messages aren’t communicated properly, your body doesn’t work as it should.
